Biography

Nicole Elizabeth Berger (born 27 November 2003) is a triple threat, multi-talented actress, model, and musician with nine movie credits. Six of these credits include major roles.

Career

In 2016's All at Once, Nicole shows off her skills as a pianist as Grace, a piano prodigy taken in by family friends after the death of her parents on 9/11 at the Twin Towers. The film had its debut at the Napa Valley Film Festival, and again at the Buffalo Dreams Fantastic Film Festival. There, All at Once won Best Director. In 2018, the film was released on streaming platforms.

Nicole can be seen starring in The Place of No Words, a fantasy-reality film. In the film, Nicole plays an enchanted fairy named Esmeralda. The Place of No Wordspremiered in the United States at the 2019 Tribeca Film Festival, internationally at the Munich Film Festival, and the Giffoni Film Festival (where it was selected for Best Film) in 2019, and on streaming in 2020.

Released in 2020, Clover, a comedic crime drama, features Nicole as the namesake character, Clover. In the film, Clover joins two brothers on the run from a relentless mob boss. For her work in Clover, Nicole was nominated for Best Teen Actress in a Streaming Film Role at the 42nd Young Artist Academy Awards.

Nicole's latest work, Runt, features her as Cecily, the lead, opposite the late Cameron Boyce. Runt follows the escapades of teenagers and the difficulties that they face without adult supervision. The film received recognition for both Best Director and the Audience Award for Best Film. Runt was released in theaters and on streaming in October 2021.

In 2020, Nicole also was featured as Ali in the short film, Ali's Realm. Ali is a teenager who mourns the death of her best friend and who stands up to bullying, all while accompanied by Charlie, the 7' alien. Ali's Realm was chosen as Best Picture at both the Seattle International Film Festival in 2019 and the LA Film Awards in 2020. For her work as Ali, Nicole received the Lead Actress Award from 2020's Best Shorts Competition.

Nicole's additional work in 2020 includes her role in Five Teenagers Walk into a Baras Natalie. The short film follows a diverse group of teenagers who must work together, despite their differences, to find their way out of the wilderness. Five Teenagers Walk into a Bar won Best Film at the 2020 LA Shorts International Film Festival.

Other notable films that feature Nicole include Prescient (2015), The Longest Week(2014), and Goldberg, P.I. (2011).

Personal Life

Nicole is from New York City. From the age of 5, she has studied piano and is now considered a trained classical pianist. Her modeling and print advertising career began at an early age. Nicole appeared for Toys "R" us and Saks Fifth Avenue. Soon after, Nicole discovered her love of singing and acting. She also has experience with commercials and voice-over acting.

Nicole has appeared in several Palm Beach community theater productions. She has been featured in lead roles such as Miss Honey in Matilda and Maria in West Side Story. She has also performed in renditions of The Nutcracker.

Nicole has attended Palm Beach Day Academy, LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts, and Concord Academy, where she will graduate in 2022. Additionally, Nicole has recently completed an intensive drama program at the Yale Summer Conservatory for Actors in New Haven.
