Patricia Mattick (31 July 1951 - 6 December 2003) was an American television actress active in the 1970s and briefly in the early 1990s. She is known for her roles in Mannix (1971), The F.B.I. (1972), and The Streets of San Francisco (1971).

In some of her works, she is also credited as Pattye Mattick.

Early life

Patricia Mattick was born as Patricia Colleen Mattick on July 31, 1951, in Denver, Colorado. She attended Grover Cleveland high school in Reseda, California.


Mattick made her acting debut in 1970, appearing in the role of "Sheila Colby" in Half Way episode of TV series Room 222. In the following year, she was seen playing the character of "Janie" in director Don Siegel's war-drama The Beguiled (starring Clint Eastwood and Geraldine Page). In 1976, she was seen in two episodes, "The Thrill Killers: Part 1" and "The Thrill Killers: Part 2," of the TV series The Streets of San Francisco.

Between 1981 and 1983, Mattick appeared in several plays at the Los Angeles-based theater company, Padua Playwrights Productions.

Mattick was last seen on the silver screen in 1991, playing the part of secretary Liza in John Putch's short comedy The Walter Ego.


Mattick died of cancer on December 6, 2003, in Tallahassee, Florida. She is buried at Granby Cemetery in Granby, Grand County, Colorado, her home state.

Some of her theater credits: in 1980 she starred as Margie Burke in the play "The Widow's Blind Date"  at The Los Angeles Actor's Theater, L.A., CA. In 1983 she starred as Mae in the play "Mud" at The Theater for the New City, New York City, N.Y. In 1987 she appeared in the play "Strongbox" at the Boyd Street Theater, L.A.,CA.(Part of Padua Hills Playwrights' Festival)In 1992 she starred in the play "Oscar and Bertha", as Bertha, at the Magic Theater, San Francisco, CA. Starred as Margaret Williams in the 2nd Columbo pilot, the episode Ransom for A Dead Man, in 1971, and in many tv shows in the nineteen-seventies, before switching to a theater career in 1979. She appeared in dozens of plays throughout the United States until the mid-nineteen-nineties. Sadly, she died of cancer at only 52 in 2003; she is buried in Granby, Colorado.
